In this year’s competition, participants are challenged to pitch a long or short Asian equity investment in the consumer or industrial sectors, with a focus on resilience or vulnerability amid high interest rates and low global growth. Teams of 2–4 (with at least one registered AIBC 2026 delegate) will analyze macro trends, financials, competitive positioning, and valuation to develop a compelling pitch.

The selected stock must be listed on an Asian stock exchange and should have a market capitalisation of at least US$5 billion equivalent as of 16 August 2026.The investment’s time horizon must be no more than 2 years. Finalists will present live at the AIBC Conference, and compete for cash prizes (SGD $1000 for 1st place), certificates, and exclusive networking opportunities.
